The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan congratulated the President of the country K.-Zh.K. Tokayev with the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

His Excellency, to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K-Zh.K. Tokaev

Your Excellency, Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich!

I heartily congratulate you on the national holiday of our country - the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

This day is marked in the modern history of Kazakhstan by a significant event - in 1990, the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted, which was an important step for our country on the path to independence.

Over the past historical period, our country has achieved great success in building a democratic society, developing the social sphere and creating an effective economic system. Citizens of Kazakhstan were once again able to freely profess their religious views, build temples and mosques, and educate the younger generation in faith.

Kazakhstan has become a dynamically developing state, one of the recognized leaders of the Eurasian space. All these years, a balanced domestic and foreign policy of the Republic was coupled with the strengthening of state stability and the harmonization of interethnic relations.

Our country has shown the whole world an example of intercivilizational, interreligious and interethnic dialogue. This was evidenced by the holding in the capital of Kazakhstan of a unique, unparalleled forum - the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which can rightfully be called an effective dialogue platform for solving global problems of countries and peoples.

The Orthodox Church has contributed and will continue to contribute to the development of the spiritual and cultural life of the capital, the preservation of traditions and the enhancement of moral values in society.

On this festive day, I sincerely wish you, dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, strength of mind and body, well-being and success in your service for the good of the Fatherland.

With deep respect and best wishes,
