The head of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District congratulated His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' on the 15th anniversary of his enthronement

February 1, 2024 is the 15th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.

Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan sent a congratulatory address to the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church:

Your Holiness, Most Holy Master!

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the fifteenth anniversary of your Patriarchal enthronement.

By the will of the Holy Spirit and the conciliar election of the Russian Orthodox Church, you have been elevated to the high priesthood of the First Hierarchs of Moscow.

Giving all your strength and talents to the service of the Holy Church, you lead the flock entrusted to you by Christ to the haven of salvation - the Kingdom of Heaven.

Through your efforts, church-state dialogue and interreligious relations are successfully developing; you are making a lot of efforts to strengthen the unity of Orthodox people, courageously raising your voice in defense of world Orthodoxy.

Carrying out your Patriarchal service, Your Holiness, work tirelessly, testifying to those near and far about Him, Who is the way and the truth and the life (John 14:6).

On this special day, your Kazakh flock with one mouth and one heart lifts up fervent prayers to God, so that the Lord will strengthen You for many years to preach the Gospel of the “Kingdom of God has come with power” (Mark 9:1).

Through the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and the intercession of all the saints, who have shone in the land of Kazakhstan, may the All-Merciful Lord grant you His gracious help in carrying out the difficult and responsible Patriarchal service for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox Church.
