Beginning of the school year in educational institutions of the Petropavlovsk diocese

September 1, 2024. Petropavlovsk. On the feast of the Donskoy Icon of the Holy Mother of God, celebration dedicated to the beginning of the school year in educational institutions of the Petropavlovsk diocese was held on Theater Square near the memorial to Karasai and Agyntai batyrs.

The ceremonial act was headed by Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaev.

The event was attended by: teachers, staff and students of the Orthodox gymnasium named after St. Sergius of Radonezh and the Humanitarian and Technical College; clergy, employees of the diocesan administration.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the national flag was carried out and the national anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was performed, after which the participants of the holiday laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and the monument to Karasai and Agyntai batyrs.

Bishop Vladimir, who is the director of the Orthodox gymnasium and the Humanitarian and Technical College, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, in which he congratulated the children on the beginning of the new school year and wished them to study conscientiously, work and develop their abilities.

Then a festive concert program was presented to the attention of those present.

At the end of the ceremonial assembly, the traditional first bell rang.
