The annual final diocesan meeting of the Karaganda diocese took place

December 21, 2023. Karaganda. The annual meeting of the Karaganda diocese was held in the Vvedensky Cathedral, chaired by Archbishop of Karaganda and Shakhty Sevastian.

The event was attended by: members of the diocesan council, deans, heads of diocesan departments, rectors and clergy of parishes, monastics, employees of the diocesan administration, representatives of parish assemblies of parishes.

Before the start of the meeting, the secretary of the diocesan administration, Archpriest Dimitry Patrikeev, announced the rules and agenda of the meeting.
Then Archbishop Sebastian made a report on the results of the outgoing year.

The archpastor presented statistical data on the number of clergy and parishes, the number of services performed and ordinations. His Eminence called on the clergy and believers to offer deep prayers for the health of the disciple of the Venerable Elder Sebastian, the confessor of the Mother of God Monastery of the Nativity, Archimandrite Peter (Goroshko).

Reports were presented by: the secretary of the diocesan administration, deans of church districts, heads of departments and the chief accountant of the diocese.

At the end of the meeting, Archbishop Sebastian thanked those gathered, giving everyone a blessing for their work in the coming year.
