The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan met with the rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Bishop Kirill of Zvenigorod

October 12, 2022. Sergiev Posad, Russia. A working meeting between Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan and the rector of Moscow theological schools, Bishop Kirill of Zvenigorod, Vicar of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, took place at the Moscow Theological Academy.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Smolensk Metropolis, Metropolitan of Smolensk and Dorogobuzh Isidor.

The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan congratulated Vladyka Kirill on his archpastoral consecration and appointment as rector, wishing God's help in his work in the field of spiritual education and theological science at the Academy at the Trinity.

During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation between theological schools were discussed.
