
A concert dedicated to Moscow Day was held at the Vladimir Parish of the Chemolgan Station

On September 8, 2024, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a festive concert "Golden-Domed Moscow" dedicated to the Day of the Russian capital was held at the parish in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God of the Chemolgan Station of the Almaty Region.
The holiday was organized by the Commission for Educational Service of the Astana Diocese with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Almaty and the Association of Russian, Slavic, Cossack Organizations of Kazakhstan.
The guests of the event were: Vicar of the Astana Diocese Bishop Veniamin of Talgar; representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in the southern capital; ataman of the "Union of Cossacks of Semirechye", member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan V.S. Shikhotov; chairman of the Almaty City Ethnocultural Association T.A. Agapova, representative of the Tatar-Bashkir cultural center of Almaty G.G. Tamendarov; members of the Union of Cossacks of Semirechye and the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack organizations of Kazakhstan; pupils of Sunday schools, parishioners of the church.
During the concert, the following performed: pupils of the church singing school "Tsevnitsa" at the Ascension Cathedral (choirmaster - N. Golovina), students of Sunday schools of the parish in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God of the Chemolgan station, the Michael-Arkhangelsk Church of the city of Kaskelen and the Elizabeth Church of the village of Koldi; the ensemble "Kazachya Slava" of the Union of Cossacks of Semirechye, the leader of the group "Motor-Roller" I. Auto, the ensemble "Zori Semirechye", the theater of folk song of the city of Almaty under the direction of M. Granova.
Before the concert, a competition of children's drawing with chalk on the asphalt was held.
The gifts to the participants of the event were books donated by the Bible Society of Kazakhstan (Executive Director – V.I. Grishko).
