Children's Day was celebrated at the Vladimir parish of Chemolgan station

On May 26, 2024, events dedicated to World Children’s Day were held at the parish in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, Chemolgan station, Alma-Ata region.

Pupils of Sunday schools of the Uzun-Agash and Ili deaneries of the Alma-Ata diocese took part in the holiday.

The center of the celebration was the play “The Snow Queen” based on the fairy tale of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, which presented the children's puppet theater “Shumigam”.

All event participants were given books and albums for coloring by the publishing house of the Bible Society of Kazakhstan (executive director - V.I. Grishko).
