Methodius educational readings were held in the Petropavlovsk Diocese

February 16, 2024. Petropavlovsk. With the blessing of Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaev, Methodius educational readings were held in the spiritual and administrative center at the Ascension Cathedral.

The conference, chaired by Archbishop Vladimir, was attended by: employees of the diocesan administration, deans, heads of diocesan departments, rectors and clergy of churches, monastics and laity.
The guest of the scientific forum was the resident of the St. Nicholas Monastery in the city of Gomel, Archimandrite Savva (Mazhuko).
Presentations were made by:
rector of the Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Archpriest Sergius Snopkov - “Guardian Angel of the Land of Petropavlovsk”;
the rector of the Methodius Church in the city of Petropavlovsk, Priest Mikhail Berezin - “Orthodox patrons of the pre-revolutionary Petropavlovsk”;
Archimandrite Savva (Mazhuko) - “Does the Church have a future?”;
the rector of the Church of the Archangel Michael in the village of Arkhangelskoye, Priest Roman Pudov - “The Unglorified Prayer Book for Our City” (Metropolitan Joseph Chernov).
After the speeches, the participants in the Methodius Readings discussed the reports and summed up the results of the conference.
